Corporate Responsibility

Phoenix’s Corporate Responsibility programme is about making a positive impact on the lives of our Phoenix Life policyholders, employees and community partners.

Our Corporate Responsibility aim for customers is to provide you with a helpful, transparent and fair service, offering a secure home for your investment. Our programme is designed to support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.

Examples of wellbeing activities that we are engaged with for the benefit of our customers are highlighted below:

More with-profits’ customers receiving bonuses this year

The majority of our with-profits’ customers continue to benefit from estate distribution (excess assets) on their funds. Almost eight in ten of our policies are now receiving an annual bonus, which is an increase from c.40% three years ago. Over half of our with-profits’ policy holders are seeing an increase in their annual bonus rates.

If you are not sure if this applies to your with-profits’ policy, why not get in touch with us.

Commenting on the announcement, Andy Moss, Chief Executive of Phoenix Life, said: “We are pleased to be able to increase annual bonus rates on many of our policies this year (2016), despite difficult market conditions, and continue to apply estate distribution to final pay-outs, a key differentiator between open and closed funds.”
